Warehouse Developments

The Jetstream Business Park.
A novel and cost effective footing solutions was used in this development on reclaimed land with the use of tilt panel construction in the office and warehouses.

Southgate Business Centre
Once again another tilt panel Construction with a unique architectural style with the vertically suspended panels.

Office/Medical Complexes

35 Boundary Street, South Brisbane.
Working with Ray White Constructions to provide over 8000 m2 of A grade office space

12-14 The Circuit, Airport Drive
Now the head office location of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, this project was one of the first to use ultrahigh flyash cement to provide a 4.5 star environmentally friendly concrete construction.

950 Gympie Road, Chermside
Once again working with the team at Ray White Constructions to build a state of the art medical centre incorporating radiation bunkers for oncology treatment with concrete walls and ceilings in excess of 2.2m thick.

City Beach Surf Shop – Brisbane City
Located in Queen Street Mall, this 120 year old building with New Zealand Limestone façade and three floors of original timber framework was refurbished to allow for new stairs and modern escalators, whilst maintaining the heritage of the building. The new skateboard ramp incorporated into the top floor and overhanging a large void, is not for the fainthearted and was certainly a unique design concept.

Hotels

Working with both the architects and our clients to provide major refurbishments on heritage listed buildings saw the team at Morgan Consulting Engineers undertake projects at the Pineapple Hotel and the Port Office Hotel. By converting the original stables at the Pineapple Hotel to the new Park Bar our engineering design was again on show.
